Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Play Hexdrinker (2 Energy) and leave it unattached at your base.
  2. Play Akshan, Mischievous (4 Energy) and pay the optional additional cost of 2 Body Power.
  3. [Weaponmaster] fires on the play: [Equip] the Hexdrinker to him for one rainbow less — its whole cost — so he is 5 Might with [Deflect] (434.1.c, 434.1.d).
  4. His paid-cost trigger fires: move an enemy gear to your base. You control it while he lives (191.1).
  5. If it is an Equipment, it attaches to him with no [Equip] cost paid (818.1 never applies to effect text).
  6. Remember 056.2: if the stolen card ever leaves the board it goes to its OWNER's zone, not yours.

Per iteration

-2 cards, -4 Energy -2 Body Power, +1 body at 5 Might with [Deflect], one enemy gear under your control

How it ends

engine — a 5-Might [Deflect] body carrying a free Hexdrinker and the opponent's best gear, for 4 Energy and 2 Body Power; the steal ends when Akshan does. Nothing here scores.

How this entry was audited

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.

AUTHORED 2026-09-07, issue #173. SFD-109 Akshan, Mischievous and SFD-102 Hexdrinker were both in ZERO entries. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; 056, 056.2, 103.1.b.3, 103.2.b, 191.1, 355.10.d, 356.6, 434.1.c, 434.1.d, 809.1.c, 809.1.c.1, 818.1, 818.1.c.2 opened in the Core Rules file. Both cards legal in both formats; neither is Signature. No unruled reading. CLAUDE.md already records that [Weaponmaster] equips 'to me' and so only pays for carrier-independent Equipment, and names the Hexdrinker as the carrier-independent answer to a single point of failure; this is the entry that uses it.
