Combo · ENGINE
Grim Apothecary bounces a body so it can be replayed — every replay is another Pridestalker buff
Pieces
- Grim Apothecary ×1
UNL-021 · engine · fury
[Ambush] (You may play me as a [Reaction] to a battlefield where you have units.) When you play me, you may return a friendly unit at a battlefield to its owner's hand.
- Pridestalker ×1
UNL-183 · legend · fury/body
When you play a unit, give a unit +1 Might this turn.
Payoff
Deck
- The legend IS one of the two pieces, so the deck is Fury/Body by construction and the Apothecary (Fury) is inside it.
Prerequisites
- A THIRD BODY IS REQUIRED AND THE SOURCE SAYS SO OUTRIGHT: 'you can't do it obviously with each other, but you can do it if you have a third unit on the battlefield'. The Apothecary you just played needs a different friendly unit at a battlefield to bounce, or the cycle has nothing to return.
- THE BUFF IS 'THIS TURN' AND SO IS THE WHOLE ENGINE. Pridestalker gives +1 Might this turn per unit played, so every point of Might bought here evaporates at end of turn. It is a combat-trick faucet, not a board.
- IT IS BOUNDED BY ENERGY, NOT BY COPIES. Each replay is 3 Energy for the Apothecary (or the cost of whatever you bounced and replayed), so the Might you can buy in a turn is your unspent Energy divided by three - the source's own framing, 'if you have the runes to do it, you can do it'.
- [Ambush] is what makes it usable on the opponent's turn: it plays as a [Reaction] to a battlefield where you already have units, so the buff can arrive inside a combat rather than before it.
- UNL-183 already appears in pridestalker-mighty-draw, which is the other side of the same legend - that one converts a turn's unit plays into cards through Mighty units, this one converts them into Might. They share no other card.

Have a friendly unit at a battlefield besides the Apothecary you are about to play
Steps
- Have a friendly unit at a battlefield besides the Apothecary you are about to play.
- Play Grim Apothecary there with [Ambush] (3 Energy): Pridestalker gives +1 Might this turn to a unit of your choice.
- The Apothecary's own play trigger returns a friendly unit at that battlefield to your hand - pick the one you intend to replay.
- Replay it: another Pridestalker trigger, another +1 Might this turn.
- Repeat while Energy lasts.
Per iteration
+1 Might this turn per unit played, at the Energy cost of the unit replayed
How it ends
engine only - Might this turn, bounded by unspent Energy and gone at end of turn

How this entry was audited
REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.
HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue62-table-of-fourteen.md), issue #62 section 2.6, which files it correctly as 'ENGINE acotado por runas' and correctly notes that UNL-183 already has an entry. It is catalogued anyway because the mechanism is different from pridestalker-mighty-draw and shares no card with it. The constraint the walk keeps from the source rather than smoothing over is the third body: the two Apothecaries cannot bounce each other into a loop. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Trap check: no attack designation; no [Repeat]; no [Temporary]; no token; a return to hand is not a Recall (455). Depends on no unruled reading.
