Arena Bar × Fiora, Worthy — a free ready every turn, aimed only at exhausted bodies
Pieces
- Arena Bar ×1
OGN-124 · engine · body
Exhaust: Buff an exhausted friendly unit. (If it doesn't have a buff, it gets a +1 Might buff.)
- Fiora, Worthy ×1
SFD-180 · payoff · order
When a unit you control becomes [Mighty], you may pay 1 Order Power to ready it. (A unit is Mighty while it has 5+ Might.)
Payoff
Deck
- Legend domains must cover Body and Order — OGN-269 The Boss, OGS-023 Might of Demacia, SFD-205 Grand Duelist, UNL-203 Keeper of the Hammer, VEN-153 Matriarch of War.
Prerequisites
- THE BAR IS THE ONLY BUFF SOURCE IN THE POOL THAT NAMES AN EXHAUSTED TARGET, which is exactly the target Fiora wants: readying a unit that is already ready does nothing (415.1 marks a Game Object already on the board), so every other buff source in fiora-buff-ready's 98-partner list has to be aimed by hand at something spent. Arena Bar cannot be aimed anywhere else.
- AND IT COSTS NOTHING. Its cost is its own exhaust alone — no Energy, no Power — and 315.1.b readies it every Awaken, so this is one ready a turn, every turn, for 1 Order Power. Against a one-shot like peak-guardian-fiora-mass-ready (three uses a game, whole garrison) this is the sustainable half of the same lens.
- 702.3 IS THE CAP AND IT IS PERMANENT, not per turn: 'There can only be one Buff on a Unit at a time', and 702.3.a says a second 'is not placed instead'. So the Bar must find a DIFFERENT unbuffed 4-Might body each turn — a unit it has already buffed can never become Mighty again this way. In practice the fodder is a token faucet or a rotating garrison, which is why the pairing wants a wide board rather than a tall one.
- The arithmetic is exact and small: 703 gives the buff +1 Might, 708 makes 5+ Mighty, and 709 fires only on the crossing. A 4-Might body readies; a 3-Might body goes to 4 and stops; a 5-Might body was already Mighty. Nothing here manufactures the 4.
- Buffing is CHOOSING (702.2.a), so the Bar's activation is also a choose of a friendly unit — which switches on SFD-195 Blade Dancer and SFD-057 Irelia, Fervent if the shell carries them. Neither is declared.
- Six Energy for the pair and 1 Order Power a turn thereafter. Both halves are fragile in different ways: the Bar is a gear and dies to gear removal, Fiora is a 3-Might body.
Steps
- Play Arena Bar (3 Energy) and Fiora, Worthy (3 Energy).
- Spend a 4-Might unit's exhaust during your Main Phase — move it, attack with it, or pay an exhaust ability with it.
- Activate Arena Bar by exhausting it: buff that exhausted 4-Might friend. 703 takes it to 5 and 709 fires 'becomes Mighty'.
- Fiora's trigger goes up: pay 1 Order Power to ready it. That unit can now act a second time this turn.
- Both the Bar and the unit ready at your next Awaken (315.1.b). Repeat every turn, aiming the Bar at a body it has not already buffed (702.3).
Per iteration
+1 unit readied per turn for 1 Order Power and no Energy
How it ends
engine — one extra action a turn, forever; it scores nothing by itself

AUTHORED 2026-09-06 from issue #160. OGN-124 was an uncatalogued partner of fiora-buff-ready. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; 315.1.b, 415.1, 702.2.a, 702.3, 702.3.a, 703, 708 and 709 opened in the Core Rules file. No unruled reading. The 'only buff source that names an exhausted target' claim was checked by grepping the whole pool for 'exhausted friendly' rather than asserted — the standing rule after two uniqueness claims in this project were refuted by a full sweep. Deliberately authored beside peak-guardian-fiora-mass-ready as its opposite: one is three uses a game across a whole garrison, this is one a turn forever.
