Azir's swap moves the Stellacorn Herder too, so the swap is a draw and her own move is a second
Pieces
- Azir, Ascendant ×1
SFD-050 · engine · calm
1 Calm Power: [Action] — Choose a unit you control. Move me to its location and it to my original location. If it's equipped, you may attach one of its Equipment to me. Use only once per turn.

When I move, draw 1.
Payoff
Deck
- Both cards are Calm; the source's legend is OGN-255 Nine-Tailed Fox (Ahri), Calm/Mind.
Prerequisites
- TWO DRAWS A TURN, AND THE SECOND ONE IS FREE. The swap is a move for the Herder (446.1) and costs her no exhaust, because 420.3.a puts that only on the Standard Move - so she is still ready and can Standard Move as well. One rune for the swap, one exhaust for the walk, two cards. That is the source's figure exactly.
- 'USE ONLY ONCE PER TURN' IS WHAT CAPS IT AT TWO. Azir prints the restriction and it is the only card in the whole pool that does - a single hit across all 935. There is no way to buy a third swap with Energy.
- A READING WAS LOOKED AT HERE AND DELIBERATELY NOT FILED. #62's section 6 asks whether a Svellsongur copy of Azir's ability would carry its own once-per-turn count. The question is real but it blocks nothing and there is a legal ordering that avoids it - 103.2.b allows three copies of Azir, and two Azir are unambiguously two swaps. The two readings and the evidence are written up in docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue62-r32-once-per-turn.md; this entry does not depend on either.
- THE SWAP ALSO CARRIES EQUIPMENT: 'If it's equipped, you may attach one of its Equipment to me' - a second use the entry does not need but which is why the card exists in that deck.
- SHE IS A 3 MIGHT BODY AND THE DRAWS ARE FINITE. The source's own framing is 'if she gets to live'; and 431.1.a plus 194.1.d are what waits at the bottom of the deck.
- Different line from twilight-reveler-svellsongur-stellacorn-draw and yasuo-stellacorn-svellsongur-draw, which both double her trigger with an Equipment. This one doubles the MOVES instead and needs no gear at all.
Steps
- Azir, Ascendant at a battlefield; Stellacorn Herder in your base, ready.
- Activate Azir for 1 Calm Power: choose the Herder. Azir goes to her location and she goes to his. Her move triggers: draw 1.
- She is still ready - the swap was a move by effect and cost her nothing (420.3.a).
- Standard Move her (144.1.a), exhausting her: draw 1 again.
- Next turn both are ready (315.1.b) and Azir's once-per-turn restriction has reset.
Per iteration
+2 cards per turn for 1 Calm Power and the Herder's own exhaust
How it ends
engine only - exactly two draws a turn, capped by Azir's 'use only once per turn'

How this entry was audited
REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.
HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue62-section3.md), issue #62 section 3. The source is a Vegas Regional Qualifier deck profile, so this is a list somebody took to an event. SFD-050 Azir, Ascendant appeared in no entry before this, and it is the card #62's section 6 wanted a rules reading about - that reading was investigated and deliberately not filed, for reasons written up in docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue62-r32-once-per-turn.md. The entry stands entirely on the printed once-per-turn restriction, which is the conservative side of the question. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Trap check: no attack designation; no [Repeat]; no [Temporary]; no token; the swap is a Move by effect and not a Recall (446.1, 456); 143.4 delays only the turn each lands. Depends on no unruled reading.
