Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Play Baited Hook (3 Energy). It enters ready — 143.4 exhausts units, and 359.2.d puts non-unit gear on the board ready at your base.
  2. Play Sprite Queen (7 Energy + 1 Power). Her play trigger gives the first ready 3-Might Sprite with [Temporary], at your base.
  3. Each Beginning Phase: 315.1.b readies the Hook; the old Sprite dies (816.1.b) and a fresh ready Sprite is played. Both triggers are yours, so 383.3.d lets you order them.
  4. In your Main Phase (312.2.a), pay 1 Energy + 1 Order Power and exhaust the Hook. Kill the Sprite — free, since 816.1.b was going to kill it at the start of your next Beginning Phase anyway.
  5. Look at the top 5 of your Main Deck. Banish a unit among them with Might up to 4 and play it ignoring its cost: 355.2.a puts it at your base or a battlefield you control, 359.2.c exhausted. Recycle the other four to the bottom of your own deck (416.1.a, 416.1.c, 416.5).

Per iteration

+1 unit of Might up to 4 from your own deck, played free, for 1 Energy + 1 Order Power and a token that was going to die anyway

How it ends

engine only — one free body a turn plus a 5-card dig; the bodies still have to walk to a battlefield to be worth points

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue115-scoring-and-free-plays.md), issue #115 §5. The candidate is real and the class is ENGINE, but THE ISSUE GOT THE COST AND THE GATING RULES WRONG. It wrote the activation as a bare exhaust; the card charges 1 Energy + 1 Order Power + exhaust. It asked whether 185 / 416.1 / 416.3 / 203.3 stop a token paying the cost; they cannot, because 'Kill a friendly unit' sits AFTER the colon and is effect text, not cost — the Hook kills (428.1) and 185.2.d makes a token follow its type's rules. It also asked about 383.3.e.1 ('the first time each turn'), which this card does not print: the gate is the exhaust plus 315.1.b. THE WALK'S OWN CONTRIBUTION IS THE FUEL: the issue proposed 'a cheap 0/1-Might token', which caps the fetch at Might 2 and is close to worthless; UNL-084's [Temporary] Sprite is 3 Might (187.2), free, recurring, and already condemned by 816.1.b, so killing it early costs nothing and lifts the ceiling to Might 4 — which is exactly OGN-226 Spectral Matron (E4 P2) and UNL-087 Blue Sentinel (E4 P1). Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; the Might ≤ 4 target list was computed over every unit in Mind ∪ Order in data/cards.json. Citations opened: 055, 103.1.b.1, 103.1.b.2, 103.1.b.3, 143.4, 185, 185.2.b, 185.2.d, 187.2, 203.3, 312.2.a, 315.1.b, 355.2.a, 359.2.c, 359.2.d, 383.3.d, 416.1, 416.1.a, 416.1.c, 416.3, 416.5, 427.1, 428.1, 431.1.c, 431.1.c.1, 816.1.b, 816.1.c. Ban check against data/legality.json: neither OGN-242 nor UNL-084 is banned or restricted in constructed or 2v2. Trap check: no attack designation; no [Repeat]; no recall; no Gold; the Sprite is KILLED, never recycled, so 185 / 186.1 / 416.1 never bite; no battlefield of its own, so 485.5 / 103.4.c never arise. Depends on no unruled reading.
