Draven's first combat win each turn — a point and a card
Pieces
- Draven, Audacious ×1
SFD-148 · payoff · chaos
[Deflect] (Opponents must pay 1 Power of any domain to choose me with a spell or ability.) The first time I win a combat each turn, you score 1 point. When I die in combat, choose an opponent. They score 1 point.
- Glorious Executioner ×1
SFD-185 · legend · fury/chaos
When you win a combat, draw 1. (You win if only your units remain after combat.)
Payoff
Deck
- Legend domains cover Fury and Chaos — Glorious Executioner is the legend (103.1.b).
Prerequisites
- This engine DEPENDS ON THE OPPONENT. Winning a combat needs a combat, and 461 needs units of two players at the battlefield; moving into an empty enemy battlefield produces nothing. Against a board that never garrisons, Draven scores zero.
- 'The first time … each turn' caps ONE COPY of Draven at one point per turn. It does not cap the CARD: 466.3.c says 'Units at this battlefield inherit the same combat result as their controllers', so three Dravens present at one won combat are three separate Triggered Abilities and 383.3.e.1 caps each of them individually - three points, not one (corrected 2026-09-09). The legend has no such clause, so three wins still draw three cards.
- The drawback is real and symmetric: 'When I die in combat, choose an opponent. They score 1 point.' At 6 Might with [Deflect] he is hard to remove with spells, but he dies to a bigger garrison and hands the point over.
- R2 (ruled A): Draven's point is a Gain by ability (194.1.c), not a 469 Score, so 470's once-per-battlefield cap does not consume the battlefield's own Hold.
Steps
- Draven at a battlefield the opponent garrisons — 461 stages the combat.
- Win the combat (the legend spells out the condition: 'You win if only your units remain after combat').
- Draven's first win of the turn scores 1 point; Glorious Executioner draws 1 for that win and for every further win in the same turn.
How it ends
engine — one point per turn plus one card per combat won, and only while the opponent keeps giving you combats to win

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-04 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-04-nine-domain-lens-candidates.md), issue #29. Both texts verified verbatim against data/corpus_flat.txt on 2026-09-04. fury+chaos had a single catalogued entry (bloodharbor-bewitching-discard, a discard engine) and no point source; this is the champion's own legend paired with the champion's own unit. Trap check: this is the one candidate of the six where the empty-enemy-battlefield trap (383.4.e, 461) genuinely bites, and it is written into prerequisites rather than hidden; the 'they score 1 point' clause is the doubled-drawback shape CLAUDE.md asks to record, so it is in prerequisites too; no [Temporary]; no rune recycled. WALK: holds as written, unchanged. Subjects line up ('I win' implies 'you win'), the legend carries no first-time clause so extra wins still draw, and both the opponent-dependency (461) and the symmetric drawback are already in prerequisites rather than buried.
