Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Bring Dusk Rose Lab and take control of it — 190.1 means it starts uncontrolled and its text is off until you do.
  2. Play LeBlanc, Fragmented (3 Energy + 1 Power) and get her to the Lab, with at least one other unit of yours standing there.
  3. Your next Beginning Phase, Beginning Step (315.2.a.1): the Lab's trigger goes on the Chain. Kill LeBlanc. Draw 1.
  4. Her Deathknell triggers (808.1.d). It is your Beginning Phase, so it draws 2.
  5. The second body keeps the Lab occupied, so 323.6 never strips your control and 315.2.b.2 Holds it in the Scoring Step for the point.
  6. Repeat with the second and third LeBlanc; afterwards the Lab still trades any spare body for 1 card a turn.

Per iteration

3 cards at the start of your Beginning Phase for 0 Energy and 0 Power, on each of three turns; 1 card a turn afterwards for any spare body

How it ends

engine only — three big turns, one per LeBlanc, then a permanent 1 card a turn; the ceiling is Burn Out (431.1.a), not the cards

How this entry was audited

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-draw-lens-candidates.md), issue #59 candidate 2. UNL-209 Dusk Rose Lab appeared in no entry before this. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; 190.1, 190.6.d, 310.2, 315.2.a.1, 315.2.b.2, 315.4.b, 319.1, 319.6, 323.6, 340.1, 431.1.a, 431.2.c, 194.1.d, 485.4.a/485.5/486.5/487.5 and 103.4.c opened in the Core Rules. Ban check: neither card carries a [BANNED marker. THE WALK'S ADDITION over the hunt: the hunt said losing your last body at the Lab strips control 'before 315.2.b.2', which is true, but traced through 319/323 it happens at the SECOND Cleanup, not the first — the Deathknell holds the turn in a Closed State (310.2) and 323.6 is conditioned on an Open one. Trap check: no attack designation ([Assault] is a Might modifier, not a trigger); no [Repeat]; no [Temporary]; no Gold; no recall, so 808.1.d.1 never engages and the Deathknell is safe; the battlefield caveat is declared. Depends on no unruled reading.
