[Equip] 3 Energy + 1 Power of any domain. This ability's Energy cost is reduced by the Might of the unit you choose. (Pay the cost: Attach this to a unit you control.)
When I conquer, if you assigned 3 or more excess damage, draw 1.
Payoff
Deck
- Legend is Piltover Enforcer (UNL-187, Fury/Order) — the trigger condition is the same wording on both cards.
Prerequisites
- Conquer while assigning 3 or more excess damage: the Gauntlets draw 1 and the legend readies a unit. Once per Conquer.
- 818.1.c.4 IS THE PARAGRAPH THAT MAKES A REDUCTION APPLY TO AN EQUIP COST AT ALL, AND IT WAS UNCITED (upgrade 2026-09-12, #191 batch 25). This entry cites 356.6 for the FLOOR - *"Energy and Power costs can`t be reduced below 0"* - and never the rule that lets cost-altering text inside an [Equip] clause change that cost in the first place. It is the Equip twin of 827.1.c.3, which this project cites constantly for Empower, and `UNL-188 Hextech Gauntlets` is its ONLY reader: of the pool`s 40 Equipment clauses, 36 are the bare form and the other four carry three non-resource costs plus the Gauntlets` cost-altering text.
- WHAT KILLS IT, AND IT IS NOT NAMED ANYWHERE ELSE IN THIS ENTRY. 718.5.b: "Attached cards still can be chosen or targeted by game effects while Attached." The Hextech Gauntlets sit on the carrier between the Equip and the Conquer, and 718.2 and 721.2 make only their printed text Inactive - the card is still a legal target, and killing it costs the draw AND the cost-altering text the notable above prices. Measured over every printing: FIFTEEN names kill a gear, they cover ALL SIX domains and NONE is colourless, so no opponent identity lacks one - and this is a Fury/Order line, so the two an opponent is likeliest to hold against it are in its own colours: OGN-022 Thermo Beam (Fury, E5 + 2 Power, [Action], kills ALL gear) and OGN-224 Salvage (Order, E2 + 1 Power, [Action]) - and ZERO of the fifteen carry [Reaction], so none reaches the Beginning-Phase Hold window (312.2.a with 813.1.c.1) - the answer has to be cast a turn early, which is also the turn in which to defend it. Thermo Beam is the one that matters, because a Conquer line usually has more than one gear on the board.

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.
Fury/Order had no entry at all. Modest but real, and the only line found so far for that pair. REFUTE 2026-09-03: WOUNDED — the earlier note called the Equip free; only the Energy is reduced by Might, the rainbow Power stays. Both triggers share one condition and each fires once per Conquer: additive, not multiplicative. Kept as the only Fury/Order line. HAND-WALKED 2026-09-04 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-04-jhin-fiora-gauntlets-pack.md) once R28 was ruled A, which is what gives the shared condition a value. The Equip reduction is printed on 'this ability's Energy cost', so a 3+ Might bearer zeroes the Energy and the rainbow Power is still paid. The [Effect] 'When I conquer' is the bearer's own trigger by 136.2.d, the same chain as World Atlas and Trinity Force.
