Gemcraft Seer × Karma — every body that lands arrives buffed
Pieces
- Gemcraft Seer ×1
OGN-100 · engine · mind
[Vision] (When you play me, look at the top card of your Main Deck. You may recycle it.) Other friendly units have [Vision].
- Karma, Channeler ×1
OGN-235 · payoff · order
[Vision] (When you play me, look at the top card of your Main Deck. You may recycle it.) When you recycle one or more cards to your Main Deck, buff a friendly unit. (If it doesn't have a buff, it gets a +1 Might buff. Runes aren't cards.)
- Herald of the Arcane ×1
OGN-265 · engine · mind/order
1 Energy, Exhaust: Play a 1 Might Recruit unit token.
Payoff
Deck
- Mind + Order + a Mind/Order legend: 103.1.b.2 is satisfied by Herald of the Arcane exactly.
- No battlefield of yours is needed, so nothing here is a 1-in-3 draw (485.5).
Prerequisites
- The cap that normally kills a repeatable buffer does not bite here. 702.3 ('There can only be one Buff on a Unit at a time') means a buffer yields min(triggers, new unbuffed bodies) — the #106 finding. In this line supply and demand arrive together: the unit that enters is both the trigger (its own [Vision] recycle) and the fresh unbuffed body, so every entering body arrives at +1 Might.
- 436.4.a: 'The Player will not perform a Burn Out as a result of Predicting with too few cards in their [deck]' — the faucet is safe with the Main Deck empty, which matters because recycling the looked-at card is optional and the deck never shrinks.
- The Recruits are born at the base (355.2.a), so #48's walk-to-the-battlefield bottleneck is untouched; this line supplies bodies, it does not place them.
- Sibling: karma-lux-recycle-buff-army runs Karma off the Lux loop's recycles and reaches an unbounded army. This one needs no loop at all — one Energy a turn — and is therefore the version a fair deck can run, at one body a turn rather than one a pass.
Steps
- Play Gemcraft Seer. Its own [Vision] looks at the top card; recycling it is already one Karma trigger if Karma is out.
- Play Karma, Channeler. From here every friendly unit that ENTERS the board carries [Vision] (817.1.c: 'The trigger is the permanent entering the Board'), including tokens.
- Each turn, pay E1 and exhaust Herald of the Arcane for a 1 Might Recruit token. It enters, predicts (817.1.b), and you recycle the looked-at card to the Main Deck (416.1.a).
- Karma's trigger fires and buffs a friendly unit — put the buff on the Recruit that just landed, which is guaranteed unbuffed, so 702.3 never refuses it. The Recruit is a 2 Might body (703).
- 315.1.b readies the legend at the next Awaken and the cycle repeats for one Energy a turn.
How it ends
engine only — one 2 Might body a turn for 1 Energy, plus a buff on every other unit you play. Nothing here scores; the points still come from whatever walks the bodies to a battlefield.

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-orphan-synergy-rules.md §2), issue #153, from the two orphan rules gemcraft-seer-vision-generalization and karma-channeler-vision-recycle. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Citations opened: 103.1.b.2, 107.4.c, 315.1.b, 355.2.a, 415.1, 416.1.a, 436.4.a, 702.2.a, 702.3, 703, 817.1.b, 817.1.c. Trap check: the Recruit is a token, so 185 / 186.1 forbid recycling or reanimating it and the entry claims neither; no attack, no [Repeat], no [Temporary], no recall; 167 is not touched, since the Energy is spent in the Main Phase it is added in; 107.4.b (the Legend Zone is not a location) does not bite, because nothing here asks the legend to be anywhere — only 107.4.c, that it is a Game Object, which is what 415.1 needs. Depends on no unruled reading.
