Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Hold a Flame Chompers, or a Rhasa / Baron Nashor you can afford to spend, and play Get Excited! for 2 Energy + 1 Power. [Action] (806.1.c.1) means this also works inside a showdown on either player's turn.
  2. 'Discard 1': 422.1.a lets you choose the card. 206 makes the damage read its PRINTED Energy cost - 3 for Chompers, 10 for Rhasa or Baron Nashor.
  3. Deal that much to a unit at a battlefield.
  4. 422.1.b then executes the discard triggers. Flame Chompers is already in the trash when it says 'play me': pay 1 Fury Power and it enters at your base or a battlefield you control (355.2.a), exhausted (143.4).
  5. Jinx, Rebel readies and takes +1 Might for the turn (one trigger per 'Discard X' action, 422.5). Raging Soul has [Assault] and [Ganking] for the rest of the turn.
  6. Loose Cannon draws you back up at the start of your Beginning Phase whenever the line has emptied your hand.

Per iteration

one removal of 3 to 10 damage per copy of Get Excited!, plus a 3 Might body for 1 Fury Power whenever the discard can be a Flame Chompers

How it ends

engine only - three copies of Get Excited! in a deck (103.2.b), so three of these a game; nothing here returns the spell from the trash

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-discard-trash-lens.md), issue #95 candidate 1. HOLDS, AND BIGGER THAN THE ISSUE WROTE IT: the issue priced the damage at 3 (Chompers) and 6 (Brazen Buccaneer) and never opened 206, which makes the spell read the PRINTED cost - so the in-domain ceiling is 10, from OGN-195 Rhasa or UNL-147 Baron Nashor, and the same 206 is why Rhasa can be both this spell's ammunition and the trash-discount line's payoff. The walk also priced Jinx, Rebel's ready against 144.4 rather than asserting it is worth a move, and added OGN-019 Raging Soul, one of the five PLAYABLE discard payoffs the pool prints (the sixth, OGN-182 Scrapheap, is BANNED in constructed and 2v2). Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Citations opened: 002, 051, 103.1.b.1, 103.1.b.2, 103.2.b, 143.4, 144.2, 144.4, 144.4.a, 144.4.b, 206, 355.2.a, 356.1.a, 383.4.e, 415.1, 422.1.a, 422.1.b, 422.5, 806.1.c.1, 807.1.d. Ban check: none of the six carries a [BANNED marker. Trap check: no Attacker designation is claimed anywhere, so Raging Soul's [Assault] is not counted into any Might figure (807.1.d, 383.4.e); no [Repeat]; no [Temporary]; no token, so 185/186.1 never arise; no recall, so 808.1.d.1 is not engaged; no Gold; no battlefield of its own; every cost is a Main Phase cost, so 167 does not bite. Depends on no unruled reading.
