When you hold here, if you have 7+ units here, you win the game.
- Keeper of Masks ×1
UNL-081 · engine · mind
[Hidden] (Hide now for 1 Power of any domain to react with later for 0 Energy.) [Temporary] (Kill me at the start of my controller's Beginning Phase, before scoring.) When you play me, play two Reflection unit tokens here. Then do this: They become copies of me.
- Flurry of Feathers ×1
UNL-044 · payoff · calm
[Reaction] Choose one — • Counter a spell. • Play four 1 Might Bird unit tokens with [Deflect]. (Opponents must pay 1 Power of any domain to choose them with a spell or ability.)

Deck
- UNL-189 Bashful Bloom IS the legend, and its Calm/Mind identity is exactly what Flurry of Feathers (Calm) and Keeper of Masks (Mind) need.

Prerequisites
- THE WHOLE ENTRY IS ONE TIMING FACT, AND IT IS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE OTHER PLAZA LINES DO. 335 says that outside the Main Phase with an empty chain you simply 'proceed to the next substep' - nobody gets priority, which is why flurry-of-feathers-grand-plaza-win records that you cannot add bodies in response to the Plaza's trigger. But a [Temporary] permanent on the board changes that: 816.1.b fires 'At the start of this permanent's controller's Beginning Phase, before scoring', which puts a Chain Item up, closes the state, and 312.2.c/312.2.d hand out priority. 813.1.c.1 then says a [Reaction] card 'can be played during Closed States on any player's turn'. The window is real and it sits BEFORE the Scoring Step.
- THE KEEPER'S OWN [Temporary] NEVER FIRES THE TURN IT WINS. 816.1.c: 'The Trigger Condition is the controller of the permanent's Beginning Phase starting.' That instant has already passed when you play it out of Hidden, so its condition is never fulfilled this turn and it and its two Reflections survive to the Scoring Step. This is why the line does not need LeBlanc, which is what leblanc-temporary-plaza and leblanc-bashful-bloom-trevor-plaza both spend a card on.
- SEVEN EXACTLY, AND EVERY BODY HAS TO BE AT THE PLAZA. Keeper + 2 Reflections + 4 Birds = 7 against a bar of 7. 811.1.d.1 forces the hidden Keeper to be played to the battlefield it was hidden at, so hide it at the Plaza; its tokens say 'here'; and Flurry of Feathers prints no destination, so 355.2.a puts the Birds at a battlefield you control. Nothing may be spent elsewhere.
- THE PLAZA IS RANDOM AND CANNOT BE DOUBLED UP: random 1 of 3 in Duel (485.5) and Skirmish (487.5), chosen in Match (486.5); 103.4.c and Tournament Rules 402.1 forbid a second copy by name. And you must control it before the Beginning Phase, since a Hold is maintaining Control (469.2).
- THE SPRITE IS THE ALARM CLOCK AND NOTHING ELSE. Any [Temporary] permanent you control at the start of your Beginning Phase opens the window; the legend makes one for 4 Energy, less per Temporary unit you already have. The Sprite itself dies in that same window and is not part of the seven.
- The Birds carry [Deflect], so an opponent must pay a rainbow to choose any of them - but they only exist for the instant between the window and the Scoring Step, and the state is Closed, so the real exposure is whatever they can do with priority in that same window.
- UNL-078 Sprite Fountain (Mind, E2 P1) is a self-renewing clock: it is itself [Temporary], and its Deathknell repeats its play effect to mint the next [Temporary] Sprite, so it replaces UNL-189 Bashful Bloom (E4) every turn at the same seven bodies, same arithmetic and same Calm/Mind identity (#161, 2026-09-06).
- ONE ENERGY ANSWERS THE MIGHT-1 BODY THIS LINE NEEDS (Keeper of Masks (M1)). OGN-133 Flurry of Blades is Body, E1: "[Reaction] (Play any time, even before spells and abilities resolve.) Deal 1 to all units at battlefields." 143.2.a kills on marked damage at or above Might, so it kills every 1-Might body on the board SIMULTANEOUSLY however many there are - the binding constraint is Might PER BODY, not the number of bodies, so no amount of going wider answers it - and 813.1.c.1 lets it land in any Closed State on either player's turn. IN THIS ENTRY’S OWN IDENTITY THE REPAIRS ARE NOT NARROW, THEY ARE ABSENT — see the notable below, which supersedes this sentence for this line.
- THE PARAGRAPH THAT AUTHORISES THE NAMED DESTINATION, ADDED BESIDE 355.2.a RATHER THAN INSTEAD OF IT (#204, from #187 batch 18). 355.2.a is the DEFAULT for playing a card - 'By default, Valid locations include the controller's Base or a Battlefield the controller controls' - and it is what this entry already cites. It is not a permission for a token-creating effect to NARROW that, and the paragraph that is has been cited by nothing in 766 entries: 184.2, 'The effect may restrict the location to which the token may be played.' That is what makes a printed 'here' a legal instruction rather than a contradiction of the default. The system is three paragraphs - 184.2 narrows, 355.2.a defaults, 355.2.b widens - and this catalogue was citing two of the three. Both are true here and the pair is the finding.
- THE THREE REPAIRS THIS ENTRY NAMES DO NOT REPAIR IT, AND TWO OF THEM CANNOT LEGALLY BE IN THE DECK (corrected 2026-09-13, #200). `prerequisites.easy` fixes the shell itself: `UNL-189 Bashful Bloom` IS the legend, so the identity is Calm/Mind and 103.1.b admits no third domain. `OGN-266 Siphon Power` is **Mind/Order** and `UNL-T03 Brush` is Green Father’s token battlefield, Green Father being **Calm/Order** — both are a third domain and neither can be played here at all. The one that is legal does not clear the bar: `UNL-077 Soul Shepherd` reads *"Your token units have +1 :rb_might:"*, and the seven are `UNL-081 Keeper of Masks` — a unit CARD at printed Might 1, not a token — plus two Reflections at 0 Might (187.6) and four Birds at 1 Might (187.7). Under the Shepherd the Birds reach Might 2 and survive; the Reflections reach Might 1 and 143.2.a still kills them on 1 damage; the Keeper is not a token and never moves. FOUR OF SEVEN SURVIVE AGAINST A BAR OF SEVEN, so the Shepherd takes this line from nought survivors to four and it still loses. Three families were swept for a Calm/Mind answer and all three are empty: static board-wide +Might (the Shepherd alone), Prevent (four cards pool-wide — `OGN-145 Unyielding Spirit` would answer it outright and is **Body**, one domain away), and Reaction-speed pumps (the three that reach several friendly bodies — `OGN-206 Back to Back`, `SFD-151 Bonds of Strength`, `OGN-266 Siphon Power` — are all **Order**). `UNL-071 Chakram Dancer` looks like the answer and is not: 814.1.c makes `[Shield]` short for *"While I am a defender, I have +X [M]"*, so it is combat-only and a Deal outside combat ignores it. THE REPAIR IS ARITHMETIC RATHER THAN A CARD: 103.2.b allows three `UNL-044 Flurry of Feathers`, and a SECOND one in the same window is eight Birds, which under the Shepherd are Might 2 and ALL EIGHT SURVIVE — the Keeper and both Reflections still die and it no longer matters, because eight clears the bar of seven. The price is 8 Energy + 4 Calm Power paid INSIDE the Beginning Phase window, which is payable because 167 empties the Rune POOL and not the runes, both of 164.2.a and 164.2.b carry `[Reaction]`, and 444.2.c lets a rune Add at the moment you are instructed to pay — but it needs eight runes on the board with four of them Calm, and 315.2 precedes 315.3, so the count is the PREVIOUS turn’s. THAT IS THE ENTRY’S REAL SHAPE: the catalogue’s fastest honest finisher is T3 while it is answerable for one Energy, and the build that survives one Energy lands near the turn the do-nothing Hold curve wins anyway.
- A SPELL PAYOFF IS ANSWERED IN A WINDOW THE RULES CREATE FOR IT, AFTER EVERY COST IS ALREADY SPENT (added 2026-09-13, #200). **359.3.c**: *"Other players have an opportunity to play Reactions before the resolution of spells."* A UNIT or GEAR payoff never gets that window — 337.2 sends it straight to Step 4 Resolve — and a BATTLEFIELD payoff is not removable at all (170.3, 170.4). A SPELL is the one payoff class the process stops for, and **425.1.c** with **425.1.c.1** refunds nothing: *"Countering does not refund any costs paid to play a card"*, *"This includes additional costs."* This line's payoff is `UNL-044 Flurry of Feathers` at **E4 + 2 Power**, and all of it is spent before the counter resolves. Swept on the bare word *counter*: 14 printings, of which three are not counters (`SFD-194 Counter Strike` is a PREVENT carrying the word in its name; `VEN-015` and `VEN-069` GRANT can't-be-countered), leaving **ELEVEN**, every one `[Reaction]`, of which **CALM PRINTS FIVE**. And `VEN-152 Rebuttal` (Mind/Chaos, `[Reaction]`) is worse than a counter against a payoff this cheap: *"Choose a spell with Energy cost no more than :rb_energy_4:. You may pay :rb_rune_rainbow:. If you do, gain control of it and you may make new choices for it. Otherwise, counter it."* — at E4 + 2 Power it is in range, so the opponent does not have to deny the line, they can TAKE it. THE POOL HOLDS EXACTLY ONE ANSWER TO THAT WINDOW AND IT IS LEGAL HERE: swept on the word *countered*, only two cards mention it and only one protects anything but itself — `VEN-069 Mel, Newly Awakened` (**mono-Mind**, E4 + 1 Power, M4), *"[Empower] :rb_energy_3:"* then *"Your spells and abilities can't be countered."* 441.2 makes Empowered a STATE, so once armed it is permanent, and this identity (["mind","calm"]) admits her. The price is E4 + 1 Power for the body and E3 to arm it, a turn ahead. (`VEN-015 Decree of Rage` is the other mention and protects only itself.)
- OPPONENT BOARD AND KILL PRICE - ADDED 2026-10-27 (#503). THE BOARD IT WINS ON: there is no combat board to beat, because the seven bodies do not exist during the opponent's turn; they are played in your own Beginning Phase and counted in the Scoring Step of that phase (315.2.b.2, 383.2.a.1). What the opponent faces on their turn is only the unit that took the Plaza, the facedown Keeper (Hide is not a Play, 811.1.c.1) and the Sprite; a battlefield with none of your units on it is lost (323.6), so a ready enemy body in their base (144.4.a) that can kill that holder takes the Plaza and the line has no place to put the seven (355.2.a). In your window the opponent can play only [Reaction] cards, because the state is Closed (813.1.c.1) and the window exists only while the Sprite's trigger is on the Chain (312.2.c, 312.2.d). With exactly seven against a bar of seven, N - 6 = 1: one damage kills a body (143.2.a), so any Reaction that removes a single body leaves six, and OGN-133 Flurry of Blades removes every 1-Might body at once; the Birds' [Deflect] (809.1.c) taxes one rainbow Power per Bird chosen but Flurry of Blades chooses none.
- THE REFLECTIONS ARE 0 MIGHT BECAUSE MIGHT IS NOT COPYABLE - WALKED 2026-10-27 (#515, docs/phase0/walks/2026-10-27-issue515-keeper-reflections-might.md). The two Reflections 'become copies of' UNL-081 Keeper of Masks (M1), and #503 asked whether that gives them Might 1. It does not: 477.1.b.1.a lists the copyable traits as Name, Super Type, Type, Tags, Cost, Domain and Rules Text, and Might is not among them, so each Reflection keeps the 0 Might of its token definition (187.6). 185.1.a keeps them TOKENS, so UNL-077 Soul Shepherd lifts each to Might 1 and not the Keeper, which is a card. SURVIVOR COUNT AGAINST OGN-133 Flurry of Blades UNDER THE SHEPHERD, BEFORE AND AFTER THIS WALK: four of seven (the four Birds at Might 2; the Keeper and both Reflections at Might 1 die), unchanged - the walk adds the paragraph the 0-Might price was missing, not a new number. Under the reading the rules exclude (copies at Might 1) the Shepherd would make them Might 2 and six of seven would survive, still under the bar of seven, so the verdict and the eight-Bird repair hold under either reading. Kill price unchanged: the cheapest unit is a Reflection and 143.2.a needs nonzero damage, so 1 damage, and Flurry of Blades kills the 0-Might Reflections along with every 1-Might body.
Steps
- Control The Grand Plaza. Keeper of Masks is hidden AT the Plaza (811.1.b, 811.1.d.1) and Flurry of Feathers is in hand. Have any [Temporary] permanent on the board - the legend makes a Sprite for 4 Energy or less.
- Your Beginning Phase starts. The Sprite's [Temporary] triggers (816.1.b) and goes on the Chain: the state closes and priority exists (312.2.c).
- In that window, play the hidden Keeper of Masks for 0 Energy - 811.1.b gives it [Reaction], and 813.1.c.1 allows a Reaction card in a Closed State. It arrives at the Plaza with two Reflection copies: three bodies.
- Still in the window, play Flurry of Feathers as a [Reaction] (4 Energy + 2 Power) and choose the second mode: four 1 Might Bird tokens, played to the Plaza (355.2.a).
- Let the chain resolve. The Sprite dies. The Keeper and its copies do not - their own [Temporary] condition (816.1.c) needed the start of the Beginning Phase, which has passed.
- The Scoring Step arrives (315.2.b.2). The Plaza's hold trigger is placed with 7 units there, its condition is fulfilled (383.2.a.1), and you win the game (195).
Per iteration
seven bodies at the Plaza inside a single Beginning Phase window, for 4 Energy + 2 Power plus the Sprite
How it ends
win the game in the Scoring Step of that same Beginning Phase

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue62-section3.md), issue #62 section 3. THIS IS THE SAME CREATOR CORRECTING HIMSELF, AND THE CATALOGUE HAS BOTH HALVES. flurry-of-feathers-grand-plaza-win records AkeenaTV's earlier line as refuted by 383.2.a.1 plus 335 - you cannot add bodies in response to the Plaza's own trigger, because in the Beginning Phase with an empty chain nobody has priority. In the same video where he says the rules changed under him (quoted in the section 5 walk), he rebuilds it around the one thing that DOES put a chain item up before scoring: a [Temporary] trigger. The walk verified every link - 816.1.b for the timing, 312.2.c for the priority, 813.1.c.1 for playing a Reaction in a Closed State, and 816.1.c for why the Keeper's own Temporary never fires that turn. It is the only Plaza line in the catalogue that uses [Temporary] as an enabler instead of paying a card to switch it off. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Trap check: no attack designation; no [Repeat]; the tokens are not recycled (185); nothing is recalled. Depends on no unruled reading.
