Prerequisites

Bodies no card supplies

Follow with Poppy, Defender of the Meek via [Ambush] (822.1.b) to occupy the space at Reaction speed, and 815.1.c.2 then makes her the only legal assignment while she lives

Steps

  1. Hold Keeper's Verdict. Its [Action] permission (806.1.c.1) lets it land inside a combat on either player's turn.
  2. When an enemy unit at a battlefield needs to be gone - especially one with a Deathknell, or one a kill would feed - play it (2 Energy + 2 Power).
  3. Its owner places it on the top or bottom of their Main Deck. No Trash, no damage, no death event: nothing it carried triggers.
  4. Expect them to choose the top if they want it back; that is still a full card of tempo and their next draw is spent.
  5. Follow with Poppy, Defender of the Meek via [Ambush] (822.1.b) to occupy the space at Reaction speed, and 815.1.c.2 then makes her the only legal assignment while she lives.

Per iteration

one enemy unit removed from a battlefield with no death event, per casting

How it ends

engine only - three copies by 103.2.b, one body each, and the opponent chooses top or bottom; nothing here scores

How this entry was audited

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-07 (issue #193, part 1). The first entry to use UNL-204 Keeper's Verdict. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Citations opened and quoted: 103.2.b, 103.2.d.1, 103.2.d.2, 355.10.e, 431.1.a, 437.4, 464.2.c.3, 465.2, 469, 806.1.c.1, 808.1.a, 808.1.d.1, 809.1.c, 815.1.c.2, 822.1.b. UNIQUENESS SWEPT, NOT ASSUMED: two corpus rows match 'top or bottom of ... Main Deck' and the other is SFD-169 Altar of Memories, which moves a card from your own hand. The mutual exclusivity with OGS-024 Decisive Strike - same domain pair, different forced legend - is stated in both entries. Ban check: neither card is banned or restricted. No unruled reading.
