Last Breath readies first and then shoots for the body's Might — and 417.6.b.3 makes it UNIT damage, which no fog and no Bonus Damage touches

Deck
- ONE LEGEND: Last Breath is a Signature card tagged Yasuo, so 103.2.d.2 forces the pool's one Yasuo legend, Unforgiven (OGN-259), Calm/Chaos — the spell's own two domains, a matched pair. Beast Below is mono-Chaos and sits inside it by 103.1.b.1.
- 103.2.d.1 caps the deck at three Signature cards, and three Last Breaths spend all of it.
Prerequisites
- IT IS UNIT DAMAGE, NOT SPELL DAMAGE, AND THAT DECIDES TWO THINGS AT ONCE. 417.6.b.3: 'When a spell or ability specifies a Unit as the source of the Damage for the Deal action, it is not in addition to the spell or ability that instructed it', with Challenge as its worked example. So `OGN-145 Unyielding Spirit` — the pool's only blanket 'prevent all spell and ability damage this turn' — leaves this working; and by the same paragraph a Bonus Damage static that reads 'your spells and abilities deal 1 Bonus Damage' (Annie, Fiery; Ravenborn Tome) does NOT raise it. The card is immune to the fog and unimprovable by the pump, and both follow from one sentence.
- THE READY COMES FIRST, WHICH IS THE WHOLE TEMPO OF THE CARD. 415.1 makes readying an act on a Game Object already on the board, so a body that has already spent its exhaust this turn — attacking (144.2) or paying an activated cost — gets it back AND fires. The correct sequence is attack, then Last Breath, not the other way round.
- THE MIGHT IS READ AT EXECUTION. 359.3.f.2: 'Information referenced in an instruction in this way will be checked on execution of the instruction', whose worked examples are exactly this shape (Yasuo, Remorseful resolving on 'his current Might of 5' after a Stupefy). So a pump added in response raises the shot, and a shrink lowers it — and if the chosen body leaves the board the referent returns null (359.3.f.2.a).
- EIGHT IS THE CEILING IN THIS IDENTITY, and it is worth naming why: Beast Below at Might 8 is the the body chosen here for its cost, not the biggest mono-Chaos prints (UNL-147 Baron Nashor is Might 12 at E10 + 3 Power), so this is an 8-damage [Action]-speed shot for 3 Energy + 2 Power on a turn the body has already attacked. It kills anything in the pool short of a buffed 9.
- AND THE BEAST'S OWN ETB IS A DRAWBACK YOU MUST PLAN FOR: 'return another friendly unit and an enemy unit to their owners' hands' is not optional. A bounce to hand is not a Recall (455 sends a Recall to the BASE), so your own body leaves the board entirely and has to be paid for again — play the Beast when the friendly you are giving back is one whose ETB you want to re-buy.
- THE LEGEND IS THE FOLLOW-UP, NOT DECORATION: 2 Energy and its own exhaust move a friendly unit to or from its base, which is how an 8-Might body that has just been readied gets out of a losing combat or into the next one. 381 confines it to your own turn in an Open State.
Steps
- Play Beast Below (7 Energy + 2 Chaos Power), accepting its ETB: return another friendly unit and an enemy unit to their owners' hands.
- On a later turn, attack with it (144.2, 144.4): it fights at Might 8 and is now exhausted.
- Play Last Breath (3 Energy + 2 Power) at [Action] speed, choosing the Beast: it is readied (415.1), then deals 8 to an enemy unit at a battlefield.
- 359.3.f.2 reads its Might on execution, so any pump you added in the same window is counted.
- With the exhaust back, use it — a second Standard Move, or 2 Energy on Unforgiven to move it to or from its base.
Per iteration
one enemy unit up to 8 Might killed, and the shooter readied, for 3 Energy + 2 Power
How it ends
engine — 8 damage at [Action] speed plus a refunded exhaust per Last Breath, three a game (103.2.b); nothing here scores
