Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Get Leona, Zealot to a battlefield you control (6 Energy + 1 Power). 143.4 makes her enter exhausted unless the opponent is already within 3 points of 8, so plan on the turn after.
  2. On your turn, pay [A] to hide Facebreaker at that battlefield (811.1.b) and leave runes ready - 167 empties the pool at each Main Phase start, so the Energy for the opponent's turn is the Energy you did not spend.
  3. The opponent attacks. Combat opens with the Combat Showdown Step (464.2); designations are assigned at 464.2.c.3 and Focus reaches you through 464.2.d then 347.2.b.
  4. Stun the attackers: Facebreaker for 0, Rune Prison for 2 Energy + 1 Power, Thwonk! for 2 Energy plus 2 more for its Repeat on a second target. All are legal in this state by 308.1.a.
  5. Each stunned attacker is now at 1 Might - 477.3.b exempts her passive ability from snapshotting, so it applies live, and 710 reads the current number.
  6. In the damage step they contribute nothing (423.1.b) and your summed Might is assigned 1 per body, because 465.2.c.4 caps it at the minimum lethal and 465.2.c.3 forces the rest onto the next one.
  7. At step 3d of the end of turn cleanup the stuns clear (423.1.a.2); 423.1.a.1 means the same bodies can be stunned again next turn, one card each.

Per iteration

every stunned attacker at Leona's battlefield costs exactly 1 damage to kill instead of its printed Might, and deals none back - so N stun cards convert N enemy bodies into N points of your defenders' summed Might

How it ends

engine only - the stun clears at cleanup 3d (423.1.a.2), 423.1.a.1 forbids re-stunning while it is on, one card is needed per body since no card in the pool stuns two enemies in one resolution, and nothing here gains a point

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-stun-lens-candidates.md), issue #61 candidate 3, REWRITTEN. SFD-040 Thwonk! and OGN-050 Rune Prison appeared in NO entry before this; OGN-079 Leona, Zealot is in leona-zealot-stun-might-collapse and OGN-220 Facebreaker in three others, and both overlaps are declared. IT IS NOT A DUPLICATE OF leona-zealot-stun-might-collapse: that entry's netPerIteration is 'one enemy unit reduced to 1 Might' and it cites neither 465.2.c.3 nor 465.2.c.4; this one is the arithmetic of a battlefield full of 1 Might bodies, and the two share only Leona herself. THE WALK'S CORRECTIONS to #61: the line is DEFENSIVE, because 811.1.b hides only at a battlefield you control, so no Facebreaker can ever be waiting at a battlefield you are attacking; and Thwonk! does work, because rule 464 is 'The Combat Showdown Step' and 464.2.c.3 precedes 464.2.d, so attacking units exist before anyone holds Focus. It also adds 477.3.b, which the catalogue needed in order to know her floor is not snapshotted - the rule's own second worked example is a passive ability of exactly this shape. Ban check: none of the four carries a [BANNED marker in data/corpus_flat.txt. Trap check: no attack designation is claimed for Leona, who defends; no [Temporary]; no token; no recall; no Gold; no battlefield of its own, though the Hidden half needs one you control and 323.7 trashes the card if you lose it. Depends on no unruled reading.
