Leona, Zealot turns a stun into one Might — 423.1.c says the kill threshold is the CURRENT number, and she drops it to 1

Payoff
Deck
- Legend domains must cover Calm and Order; eleven legends do.
- Leona, Zealot must STAND at the battlefield where the stun lands — her text says 'here' — and at 6 Energy + 1 Power she is the expensive half.
Prerequisites
- THE TWO STUN RULES DO DIFFERENT JOBS AND #61 BLURRED THEM. 423.1.b: 'A Stunned Unit does not contribute its might to damage in the combat damage step' — that removes the enemy's OFFENCE and nothing else; it does not lower any number. 423.1.c is the one this entry stands on: 'A Stunned Unit must still have damage applied to it equal to, or greater than, its full might value to be killed.' Stunning alone therefore makes an enemy harmless but no easier to kill. Leona, Zealot is the card that closes that gap, and she does it with printed text, not with a rule.
- 710 IS WHY THE -8 REACHES THE KILL THRESHOLD: 'Units on the board are evaluated according to their current Might.' Her -8 (to a minimum of 1) IS the unit's current Might, so 423.1.c's 'full might value' is 1. A stunned enemy standing with her dies to 1 damage and deals none.
- ARITHMETIC WITH THE QUANTITIES DECLARED. Solari Shieldbearer (3 Energy) stuns one unit and leaves a 2 Might body. With Leona, Zealot at that battlefield, that enemy is at 1 Might for the turn: your summed Might in the damage step (465.2.c) needs 1 point of it to kill, and the enemy contributes 0 (423.1.b). A 6 Might enemy becomes a 1 Might enemy for 3 Energy.
- ZENITH BLADE SOLVES THE POSITIONING PROBLEM THE CARD CREATES. Her -8 is 'here', so she has to be at the stunned unit's battlefield. Zenith Blade stuns an enemy at a battlefield AND lets you move a friendly unit to that unit's battlefield in the same 3 Energy + 2 Power — and 420.3.a puts the exhaust cost only on the Standard Move, so this move works even with Leona exhausted (#58's fact, used on the delivery leg).
- IT IS A WINDOW OF ONE TURN, NOT A LOCK, AND #61 IS RIGHT ABOUT THAT. 423.1.a.2: 'Stunned Units lose the Stunned status during step 3d of the end of turn cleanup.' And 423.1.a.1 ('A Stunned Unit can not be Stunned again') means you cannot re-apply it while it is on; Leona, Determined's 'When I attack, stun an enemy unit here' is the way to get a fresh stun every turn without spending a card.
- HER FIRST SENTENCE IS NOT A COST YOU CONTROL. 'If an opponent's score is within 3 points of the Victory Score, I enter ready' — that is a condition on the opponent's score (5 of 8 or more), so she normally enters exhausted under 143.4 and stands up at the next Awakening Phase (415.3.a). The entry does not price her as entering ready.
- radiant-dawn-stun-buff IN data/synergies.json IS A DIFFERENT PATTERN. It models the cards that PAY you for stunning (OGN-261); this entry is about what the stun is worth once it has landed. They do not overlap.
Steps
- Get Leona, Zealot to a battlefield (6 Energy + 1 Power). 143.4 makes her enter exhausted unless the opponent is already within 3 points of 8.
- Stun an enemy unit at that battlefield: Solari Shieldbearer for 3 Energy, or Zenith Blade for 3 Energy + 2 Power, or Leona, Determined's attack trigger for free.
- Zealot's second sentence applies: that stunned enemy is at 1 Might, to the minimum.
- In the damage step it contributes nothing (423.1.b) and dies to 1 damage, because 423.1.c reads its current Might (710) and that is 1.
- At step 3d of the end of turn cleanup the stun clears (423.1.a.2). Leona, Determined re-applies one next turn for nothing.
Per iteration
one enemy unit at Leona's battlefield reduced to 1 Might and contributing no combat damage, per stun, for as little as 3 Energy
How it ends
engine only — the stun clears at cleanup (423.1.a.2) and 423.1.a.1 forbids re-stunning while it is on, so this is a one-turn window repeated, never a lock

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue89-tournament-corpus.md), issue #89 candidate 7 (64 registered lists). All four cards appeared in NO entry before this. THE WALK'S CORRECTION TO #61 IS SHARPER THAN THE ISSUE'S: #61 recorded that 'what removes Might is 423.1.b', and 423.1.b removes no Might at all — it removes the stunned unit's CONTRIBUTION to combat damage. The rule this entry stands on is 423.1.c, which fixes the kill threshold at the unit's 'full might value', read as its CURRENT Might by 710 — which is what Leona, Zealot's printed -8 changes. Everything else #61 concluded stands: 423.1.a.1 and 423.1.a.2 keep any stun line inside one turn, so no stun engine is INFINITE and this one is not either. Trap check: Leona, Determined's stun needs an Attacker designation and the entry says so (807.1.d, 383.4.e, 461); no [Repeat]; no [Temporary]; no token; no recall; no Gold; no battlefield of its own. Depends on no unruled reading.
