206 reads the PRINTED cost, so a discounted Singularity still pumps Lux — and 715.2 makes it two targets, individually

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Play Lux, Illuminated (E6 + 1 Mind Power) and move her to a battlefield.
  2. In a later Main Phase, play Singularity (E6 + 2 Mind Power), discounted or not — 206 reads its printed 6 either way.
  3. Lux's trigger fires: +3 Might this turn, applied as a continuous modifier at 477.3.e.1.
  4. Singularity's effect deals 6 to each of up to two units. 715.2 treats the two targets individually, and 143.2.a kills each one whose Might the 6 equals or exceeds.
  5. Attack or defend with Lux at Might 8; 465.2.c reads the modified value when damage is assigned, and a second qualifying spell the same turn makes it 11.
  6. 317.2.c expires the pump at the end-of-turn Cleanup; the trigger is available again next turn with no cost and no cap.

How it ends

engine only — +3 Might per E5-or-more spell, with no once-a-turn clause, plus two bodies at Might 6 or less removed per Singularity (three a game, 103.2.b); nothing here scores

How this entry was audited

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-07, issue #170, from the Core-Rules-named sweep; OGS-006 Lux, Illuminated and OGN-105 Singularity were both uncatalogued, and both are worked examples in the rules text (206 and 715.2 respectively). Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Trap check: the pump is stated as a continuous modifier and not a 702 Buff, with 317.2.c expiring it; the 'costs N' / 'spent N' split is named so the shell is not built on the wrong half; the [Hidden] line is recorded as a REFUSAL with the sweep behind it (one [Hidden] spell at E5+, and it is Signature) rather than left as an unexplored lead; the Mind spell density is counted rather than asserted.
