Deck
- Legend domains must cover Mind and Order — the mind/order legends are OGN-265 / OGN-308 Herald of the Arcane, OGS-021 Lady of Luminosity - Starter, SFD-201 / SFD-249 Chem-Baroness, UNL-199 / UNL-235 Deceiver. (Rebuilt from the census by test/legend-lines.test.ts, 2026-09-07; an earlier line named a legend that cannot hold one of the entry's domains.)
- No battlefield of yours is required.

Prerequisites
- Ledger, checked against the declared quantities before authoring: Portal Rescue costs E3 + 1 Power and returns four Gold, each of which is 'Kill this, exhaust: [Add] 1 rainbow'. Net +3 Power per casting, three castings a game (103.2.b). The Golem's M9 body also comes back — but to the BASE, so if it was standing at a battlefield the replay costs you that garrison.
- The Golem is E8 P2 to cast the first time. Portal Rescue is the cheap half of the line, not the whole of it: it does not make the Golem playable, it makes the second and third resolutions of his trigger cost E3 + 1 Power instead of E8 + 2 Power.
- Portal Rescue BANISHES first. 108.6.c makes Banishment the hard-to-recover zone, and nothing in the pool returns a card from it — the return here is the spell's own second clause, in the same breath. Two consequences the entry relies on: a unit rescued this way never reaches the Trash, so a [Deathknell] it carries is erased exactly as a heal/exhaust/recall shield erases one (808.1.d.1); and because it is not a death, no 'when a friendly unit dies' payoff sees it.
- [Action] speed (806.1.b) means this reaches an opponent's Showdown as well as your own Main Phase, so it doubles as a save from removal — at the price of the banished body losing everything attached and every buff (705).
Steps
- Get Renata Glasc, Industrialist onto the board first: her static 'Your tokens enter ready' has to be present before the Golem's trigger resolves, or R25 = A never applies and the Golds are next turn's Power.
- Play Trove Golem for E8 + 2 Power. His trigger plays four Gold gear tokens; Renata makes them enter ready.
- Kill and exhaust each Gold for 1 rainbow Power ('[Reaction][>] Kill this, exhaust: [Add] 1 rainbow'). Four Power.
- Play Portal Rescue for E3 + 1 Power. It banishes the Golem and its owner plays it to their base ignoring its cost (419.3.a treats Play as a Limited Action; 419.4.a fires the play trigger when the play completes).
- Four more Golds, ready. Four more Power, for a net of three. Repeat with the second and third copies of Portal Rescue.
How it ends
engine only — about +3 Power per casting of Portal Rescue, three castings a game (103.2.b), plus a re-played M9 body at your base. Nothing here scores.

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-orphan-synergy-rules.md §6), issue #153, from the orphan rule portal-rescue-replays-a-body. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. Citations opened: 103.1.b.2, 103.2.b, 108.6.c, 355.2.a, 419.3, 419.3.a, 419.4.a, 705, 806.1.b. Stands on R25 = A, ruled 2026-09-04. The partner was chosen against a trap the rule's own predicate cannot see: Portal Rescue plays the body 'to their base', so 359.3.f.2 reads 'here' as the BASE for every partner whose trigger says 'play a token here' — OGN-218 Vanguard Captain, SFD-157 Royal Guard, OGN-211 Faithful Manufactor and UNL-033 Frisky Hunter are all strictly worse under Portal Rescue than under a bounce-to-hand, and are recorded as refusals in the walk document. Trap check: the Golds are tokens, so 185 / 186.1 forbid recycling them and nothing here tries; no attack; no [Repeat]; no [Temporary]; the banish is not a recall, so 455 does not apply, but 108.6.c does; nothing is added in Awaken, so 167 does not bite. Sibling: ava-achiever-temporal-breach-trove-golem re-plays the same Golem with a different, three-copies-a-game enabler.
