Payoff
Deck
- Legend domains cover Fury and Order: OGN-253 Hand of Noxus, SFD-187 Void Burrower, UNL-187 Piltover Enforcer. None carries a ban marker.
Prerequisites
- Eye of the Herald attached to Revna (1 Order Power) and Revna already on the board: she is E7 + 1 Power and 143.4 enters her exhausted, so the turn she lands she does not move.
- Revna is a 'spent' card, not a 'costs' card. 166.2 and 203.1 make the threshold read what actually left the Rune Pool, so ANY discount switches the ready off — OGN-031 Raging Firebrand ('the next spell you play this turn costs 5 less') is in-domain and turns her off outright — and 811.1.b + 356.1.b.1 set a [Hidden] card's base costs to zero, so a spell played from hidden never readies her. 206 does the opposite for the 'costs N or more' family; the two wordings behave in reverse.
- Battlefields you control, or empty ones. 810.1.b + 144.4.c.1 let [Ganking] move her battlefield to battlefield, but moving onto an occupied enemy battlefield makes her the Attacker (190.3.a.1, 464.2.c.1) and 144.1.c then forbids further Standard Moves during the Combat.
- SFD-171 Renata Glasc, Industrialist (Order, in-domain) is optional and only matters off the battlefield: the Recruit born at a battlefield does not need to be ready to Hold, but a base-born one needs a ready before it can walk (143.4, 185.2.d). Upstage Comedy's second execution supplies that ready anyway.
- The Grand Plaza is NOT a route from here. Shuttling base to Plaza and back, every Recruit can reach the Plaza (Upstage Comedy or Renata readies the base-born ones, 144.4.a walks them), but six Recruits plus Revna is seven moves — about 24 Energy in one turn against a 12-rune ceiling. Across two turns it gets there and half the bodies then have to survive TWO opponent turns instead of the one every catalogued Plaza line pays. Refuted as an ALT_WIN; recorded here so the next hunt does not re-derive it.
Steps
- With Revna ready at a battlefield (or at base), Standard-Move her: 420.3.a exhausts her, 144.4.c.1 allows battlefield to battlefield.
- The Eye's granted effect fires. 359.3.f.2 reads 'here' on execution, so the 1 Might Recruit is played at the DESTINATION — no walk from the base, which is the bottleneck #48 measured for every other token line.
- Play Upstage Comedy paying its E2 plus the [Repeat] E2: 4 Energy spent, so Revna's trigger readies her, and the spell's two executions ready a unit each (820.1.b) — spend one on the Recruit that just landed.
- Move again. A 12-rune turn is the Awaken ready plus three qualifying spells: 4 moves, 4 Recruits.
Per iteration
-4 Energy per move after the first; +1 Recruit at a battlefield and +1 spare ready per move.
How it ends
engine only — about 4 Recruits per turn, each born AT a battlefield, bounded by the Energy of the turn and by the three copies of the ready spell

How this entry was audited
REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.
The legal Fury/Order rebuild of pursuer-herald-recruits, whose mover OGN-177 Stealthy Pursuer has been banned in Constructed and 2v2 since 2026-07-24; zed-clone-eye-recruits is the Order/Chaos rebuild. WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-this-turn-lens.md). REWRITTEN from issue #98's candidate C1, which priced a ready at one of the sixteen Fury/Order spells printed at E4 or more and so put the rate at 2-3 Recruits per turn. It never opened 820.1.c.1 ('The Cost is an Additional Cost to be paid during the steps of playing the spell or ability'), which makes UNL-009 Upstage Comedy — E2 with [Repeat] E2 — a 4-Energy spend that also readies twice; the rate is 4 per turn and the issue's R1 refutation of the Plaza needs 7 moves, not the 11 it computed. 206's own Defy / Rocket Barrage example is the other half of the same fact: a 'costs N' card ignores a paid Repeat cost, while a 'spent N' card counts it. ONE AMBIGUITY, DELIBERATELY NOT FILED: Revna's 'if you spent 4 or more' can be read per-spell or cumulatively for the turn (UNL-004 and UNL-089 both spell out 'to play a spell this turn'). This entry stands on the NARROW reading, which both satisfy, so no R-number was opened.
