Two rainbow spent is two cards, not one big one — and the cheapest second half is one of the pool's two uncounterable spells
Pieces
- Sivir, Mercenary ×1
SFD-143 · payoff · chaos
[Accelerate] (You may pay 1 Energy + 1 Chaos Power as an additional cost to have me enter ready.) If you've spent at least 2 Power of any domain this turn, I have +2 Might and [Ganking]. (I can move from battlefield to battlefield.)
- Decree of Rage ×1
VEN-015 · enabler · fury
[Action] (Play on your turn or in showdowns.) This can't be countered. Deal 4 to an enemy Calm (1 Calm Power) unit.
Payoff
Deck
- Chaos + Fury, so five legend names (103.1.b.2): Loose Cannon (OGN-251), Dark Child - Starter (OGS-017), Glorious Executioner (SFD-185), Bloodharbor Ripper (UNL-185), Master of Shadows (VEN-143).
- A DECKBUILDING CONSTRAINT: no cost reduction in the list. A discount lowers what you SPENT, which is the number Sivir reads.
Prerequisites
- HER CLAUSE READS THE RUNE POOL, NOT A PRINTED COST, WHICH IS THE WHOLE DIFFERENCE. 166.2, 203.1 and 356.4.b make 'if you've SPENT at least two rainbow this turn' a measurement of what actually left the Rune Pool — so two one-Power cards satisfy it and one two-Power card discounted to one does not. This is the half of the costs-versus-spent split that a builder gets wrong in the constructive direction: you do not need an expensive card, you need a SECOND card.
- AND SIVIR'S OWN PLAY IS THE FIRST HALF. She costs 1 Chaos Power, so playing her on the turn you want the clause satisfied leaves you needing exactly one more Power out of the pool — `VEN-015 Decree of Rage` at 1 Energy + 1 Fury Power is the cheapest card in the identity that supplies it, and it does something on the way.
- IT IS ONE OF EXACTLY TWO CARDS IN THE POOL THAT SAY 'CAN'T BE COUNTERED', SWEPT AND NAMED: `VEN-015 Decree of Rage` (Fury) and `VEN-069 Mel, Newly Awakened` (Mind). So the enabler cannot be denied — which matters, because a counter aimed at it would leave Sivir a plain 4-Might body for the turn.
- THE DECREE IS NARROW AND THE ENTRY SAYS SO: 'Deal 4 to an enemy CALM unit'. Against a board with no Calm unit it has no legal target and 055 leaves you with nothing but the spend — which is still the point, but it is a spend of 1 Energy + 1 Power for a Might and a keyword rather than for removal. Build it as insurance, not as the plan.
- WHAT THE CLAUSE BUYS IS A KEYWORD, NOT JUST MIGHT. [Ganking] is what 144.4.c.1 needs for a battlefield-to-battlefield Standard Move, so a satisfied Sivir can leave one battlefield for another in a single action; 810.1.c.3 keeps it honest — 'It does not give additional abilities or activations of Movement, only new options for the Standard Move' — and 810.2 makes a second grant redundant.
- HER [ACCELERATE] IS DOMAIN-LOCKED TOO. 805.1.a.1: the Power portion must match one of the unit's own domains, so accelerating Sivir costs a CHAOS Power specifically — and that Power also counts toward her own two-rainbow threshold, which is the cheapest way to satisfy it on the turn she lands.
Steps
- Play Sivir, Mercenary (4 Energy + 1 Chaos Power). That is one rainbow spent.
- If you want her active the same turn, pay [Accelerate] as well: 1 Energy + 1 CHAOS Power (805.1.a.1). That is the second rainbow, and she enters ready.
- Otherwise, play Decree of Rage (1 Energy + 1 Fury Power) for the second: it cannot be countered, and it deals 4 to an enemy Calm unit if there is one.
- Her clause now reads true: +2 Might and [Ganking] for the rest of the turn.
- Move her battlefield to battlefield (144.4.c.1) at Might 6.
Per iteration
a 6-Might body with battlefield-to-battlefield movement, for one extra Power over her printed cost
How it ends
engine — +2 Might and [Ganking] on any turn you spend two Power, which her own play plus one cheap card supplies; nothing here scores

How this entry was audited
REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.
SFD-143 Sivir, Mercenary and VEN-015 Decree of Rage were both in ZERO entries. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; 055, 103.1.b.2, 144.4.c.1, 166.2, 203.1, 206, 356.4.b, 805.1.a, 805.1.a.1, 806.1.b, 810.1.c.3, 810.2 opened in the Core Rules file. The 'can't be countered' sweep was run over the whole corpus and returns exactly two rows, both named. Sivir was named in §1.2 and §15.4 of this walk as the card a DISCOUNT switches off; this entry is the constructive side of the same clause and repeats the constraint in its prerequisites.
