Play the Blighted Battleaxe (4 Energy) and [Equip] it to a unit for 1 Energy + 1 Fury Power (818.1)

Steps

  1. Play the Blighted Battleaxe (4 Energy) and [Equip] it to a unit for 1 Energy + 1 Fury Power (818.1). The carrier's Might rises by 4 (434.1.d) and inherits the Battleaxe's end-of-turn clause (434.1.c).
  2. In your Main Phase, cast Strike Down (3 Energy + 1 Body Power) choosing that unit.
  3. It deals damage equal to its full Might — printed plus the +4 — to an enemy unit. 417.6.b.3 makes that unit damage, and nothing is dealt back.
  4. Then detach an Equipment from it: take the Battleaxe off.
  5. At the end of your turn the Battleaxe is no longer attached, so the 'deal 4 to me' clause is not on your unit at all.
  6. Re-equip next turn for 1 Energy + 1 Fury Power (381 confines it to your own Main Phase).

Per iteration

-1 card, -3 Energy -1 Body Power, damage equal to the carrier's boosted Might to one enemy unit, and 4 damage to your own body avoided

How it ends

engine — a one-way shot equal to a boosted body's Might, and the Battleaxe's own end-of-turn bill dodged, once per Strike Down; nothing here scores

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.

AUTHORED 2026-09-07, issue #173. SFD-107 Strike Down and UNL-019 Blighted Battleaxe were both in ZERO entries. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; 103.1.b.2, 143.2.a, 381, 417.6.b.3, 434.1.c, 434.1.d, 818.1, 818.1.c.2 opened in the Core Rules file. Both cards legal in both formats; neither is Signature. No unruled reading. 434.1.c is what decides who 'me' refers to in the Battleaxe's clause — the carrier, because the Effect Text is appended to the carrier's Rules Text — and that is the reading the entry stands on.
