Payoff

Repeatable Energy or Power

Deck

Prerequisites

Bodies no card supplies

For each, choose another friendly unit: it gains [Deflect] and +3 Might this turn (359.3.f.2 reads Kato's Might on execution)

Steps

  1. Play Kato the Arm (4 Energy + 1 Body Power) and attach Svellsongur A, B and C to him in that order: 2, then 4, then 8 instances (434.1.c, 476.1, 477.2.c, 479.1, 480.3; R6 = A).
  2. Main Phase: standard-move him to a battlefield (144.1.a, 144.2, 144.4.a).
  3. The eight instances are placed together and resolve one at a time. For each, choose another friendly unit: it gains [Deflect] and +3 Might this turn (359.3.f.2 reads Kato's Might on execution).
  4. Aim them all at one body for a 3-Might unit at 27, or at eight different bodies to put [Deflect] on the whole garrison before the opponent's turn.
  5. Walk him home and repeat next turn; he readies at Awaken (315.1.b).

Per iteration

8 grants of [Deflect] and +3 Might per move, aimed one at a time

How it ends

engine — a Might spike or a garrison-wide removal tax; it scores nothing by itself

AUTHORED 2026-09-06 from issue #160. SFD-112 was an uncatalogued partner of svellsongur-copy and of the three move rules. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; 137.3, 137.3.a, 144.1.a, 144.2, 144.4.a, 315.1.b, 359.3.f.2, 420.3.a, 434.1.c, 476.1, 477.2.c, 479.1, 480.3, 809.1.c, 809.1.c.1 and 818.1 opened in the Core Rules file. Stands on R6 = A and R9; no new reading. The '+Might this turn' is a continuous modifier, not a 702 buff, so 702.3 never caps it and eight instances on one body really do stack — the same distinction CLAUDE.md draws for Lee Sin, Centered and Soul Shepherd.
