Yasuo, Remorseful × three Svellsongur — eight separate 6-damage attack triggers
Pieces
- Yasuo, Remorseful ×1
OGN-076 · engine · calm
When I attack, deal damage equal to my Might to an enemy unit here.
- Svellsongur ×3
SFD-059 · engine · calm
[Equip] 1 Energy + 1 Calm Power (1 Energy + 1 Calm Power: Attach this to a unit you control.) As this is attached to a unit, copy that unit's text to this Equipment's effect text for as long as this is attached to it.

Deck
- MONO-CALM. Yasuo, Remorseful and Svellsongur are both Calm, so every legend with Calm in its pair can run this — Calm/Body, Calm/Chaos, Calm/Mind, Calm/Order and Fury/Calm. That is the widest identity of any Svellsongur line in the catalogue.
Prerequisites
- EIGHT INSTANCES, EIGHT SEPARATE CHOICES. Each copy reads 'an enemy unit here' independently, so the 48 damage is not one lump: it is eight instructions of 6, aimed one at a time, and 143.2.a only needs the damage to reach a unit's Might for it to die. A garrison of five 6-Might defenders is gone before combat damage is ever assigned.
- The Might is read AT EXECUTION, and Riot says so with this exact card. 359.3.f.2: 'Information referenced in an instruction in this way will be checked on execution of the instruction', and the worked example is a player moving Yasuo, Remorseful to an occupied enemy battlefield and the opponent answering the attack trigger with Fight or Flight. So the eight instances all read whatever Yasuo's Might is at the moment each resolves — and Svellsongur's Might Bonus is +0 (137.3), so the number stays 6 unless something else moves it.
- IT NEEDS A REAL COMBAT. An attack trigger fires when a unit gains the Attacker designation (383.4.e), and entering an EMPTY enemy battlefield gives no such designation (807.1.d, 461): there is no Attacker without a garrison to contest. This engine is worth nothing against an opponent who keeps no bodies on their battlefield, and that is not a hypothetical — it is the same trap the catalogue records for Assault and every 'When I attack' line.
- Once per combat, and 383.4.e.2.a checks any extra condition only at the instant of the Attacker designation. Yasuo has no extra condition, so all eight fire; but a second attack in the same turn needs a second combat, and a Standard Move costs his exhaust (144.2). Realistically this is one 48-damage volley per turn.
- This is a DEAL, not combat damage. 713 scopes Bonus Damage to Deal actions and 417.6.c makes combat damage come from the units themselves, so none of the 48 counts toward the 'excess damage' thresholds of OGN-034 Tryndamere or SFD-120 Sivir — R28 = A defines excess damage as attacking MIGHT that never got assigned, and 465.2.c.4 is what creates it. Do not compose this with that family expecting points.
- Cost, counted whole: Yasuo 6 Energy + 2 Calm Power; each Svellsongur 3 Energy + 1 Calm Power to play PLUS 1 Energy + 1 Calm Power to [Equip]. 18 Energy and 8 Calm Power, all of the Power in one domain — which is the real constraint, not the Energy.
Steps
- Play Yasuo, Remorseful (6 Energy + 2 Calm Power).
- Attach Svellsongur A, B and C to him in that order: 2, then 4, then 8 instances of 'When I attack, deal damage equal to my Might to an enemy unit here' (434.1.c, 476.1, 477.2.c, 479.1, 480.3; R6 = A).
- Move him to an OCCUPIED enemy battlefield. 190.3.a.1 applies Contested, and the Combat opens with him designated Attacker (464.2.c.1) — an empty battlefield would give no designation at all (807.1.d, 461).
- All eight attack triggers are placed at the designation (464.2.c.3). Resolve them one at a time, each choosing its own enemy unit here and dealing 6 (359.3.f.2 reads his Might on execution).
- Whatever survives fights the ordinary combat. Repeat next turn, once he has readied at Awaken (315.1.b) and a garrison exists to attack.
Per iteration
48 damage per combat, aimed as eight independent 6-damage instructions
How it ends
engine — repeatable removal; it scores nothing except by clearing a garrison so the Conquer happens

AUTHORED 2026-09-06 from issue #160. OGN-076 was an uncatalogued partner of svellsongur-copy even though it is the card Riot uses to explain 359.3.f. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt; 143.2.a, 359.3.f.1, 359.3.f.2, 383.4.e, 383.4.e.2.a, 434.1.c, 461, 464.2.c.1, 464.2.c.3, 476.1, 477.2.c, 479.1, 480.3, 137.3, 190.3.a.1 and 807.1.d opened in the Core Rules file. Stands on R6 = A and R28 = A (the latter only to say what this engine does NOT feed); no new reading. Trap check: the empty-battlefield trap is stated in full rather than assumed; no token; nothing recycled; no [Temporary]; no [Repeat]; no recall; the [Equip] costs and all 8 Calm Power are counted.
