Payoff
Deck
- The two cards are Order and Colorless, and the intended feed (sprite-queen-targon-peak-conquer-cycle) is Mind, so the shell is Mind/Order: SFD-201/SFD-249 Chem-Baroness, UNL-199/UNL-235 Deceiver, OGN-265/OGN-308 Herald of the Arcane, OGS-021 Lady of Luminosity. Every one of the four covers Order, which is all 103.1.b asks of the two cards in uses[].
Prerequisites
- IT NEEDS A REPEATABLE CONQUER AT THIS BATTLEFIELD, WHICH IS WHY IT DECLARES needs. 470 caps Scoring at once per battlefield per turn and 315.2.b.2 makes the Hold mandatory, so a battlefield you take and keep fires its conquer clause exactly once in the game. The feed written for it is sprite-queen-targon-peak-conquer-cycle, which vacates and retakes the battlefield every turn; swap Targon's Peak for Treasure Hoard there and this entry is the payoff. Any other conquer engine in the catalogue works only if the Conquer lands on THIS battlefield.
- THE GOLD IS ONE RAINBOW POWER, WHICH IS WORTH MORE THAN ONE ENERGY. 135.2.e.5.b — '[A] can be spent to pay a Power cost of any Domain' — so the token pays a domain cost the deck could not otherwise raise, and the project's own measured exchange inside a loop is about nine Energy to a Power. Outside a loop the rate is not that steep, but 1 Energy for 1 rainbow Power at Reaction speed is a favourable trade every turn.
- RENATA GLASC, INDUSTRIALIST IS A STATIC, NOT A TRIGGER, so nothing in the pool can double her and nothing has to be readied. She is also the reason this beats OGN-117 Viktor, Innovator as a partner: R25 = A adds nothing to a token that only has to stand somewhere, and everything to a token whose own ability costs its own exhaust.
- TREASURE HOARD IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE ON THE TABLE: 485.4.a puts one of your three battlefields into a Duel and 485.5 selects it at random; 486.5 lets you choose in 1v1 Match play, and 103.4.c forbids a second copy of the name.
Steps
- Get Renata Glasc, Industrialist onto the board (E4 + 1 Order Power). Her clause is a static and needs nothing further.
- Conquer Treasure Hoard. 348.2.a.1 ('This results in a Conquer if that player has not yet scored that Battlefield this turn') is the event; the battlefield's own trigger goes on the Chain.
- Pay the 1 Energy the Hoard asks for. The Gold gear token is played 'exhausted' by the card and 'ready' by Renata; R25 = A resolves that in Renata's favour, so it enters ready.
- Kill the Gold for its own ability — 187.5, '[Reaction] Kill this, [exhaust]: [Add] [rainbow]' — at any point up to the end of the turn, and spend the rainbow Power on any domain cost (135.2.e.5.b). 167 empties the Rune Pool at the start of your next Main Phase and the end of your turn, so the Power is a same-turn resource.
- Repeat on the next Conquer at this battlefield.
Per iteration
1 Energy in, 1 rainbow Power out, per Conquer at Treasure Hoard
How it ends
engine only — one Power per Conquer at this battlefield, so its rate is exactly the rate of the conquer engine feeding it; with the Sprite Queen cycle that is one per turn, forever

How this entry was audited
REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.
HAND-WALKED 2026-09-07, issue #171. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. This is the first entry in the catalogue to declare needs: [conquer-engine] — thirty-two entries produced that feature on 2026-09-07 and nothing consumed it, because nobody had written the payoff side. Trap check: the Gold is a token, so 185 / 186.1 / 416.1 keep it out of every card count, out of the trash and out of any Recycle; no attack is claimed; 167 is respected because the Power is spent the same turn; Renata is a unit and not a battlefield, so 190.6.d never applies to her.
