Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Standard Move the Eye-carrying Reveler from base into the enemy battlefield (144.1.a, 144.4.a). 144.2: exhausting it is the whole cost - no Energy, no card.
  2. 446.1 makes that a Move, so the Eye plays a 1 Might Recruit there.
  3. 461/462 stage the combat; 464.2.c.3 gives the Reveler AND the Recruit the Attacker designation, and 383.4.e puts 'When I attack' on the chain: ready the other Reveler.
  4. First pass only: Facebreaker on the enemy defender (and, as the card demands, on a friendly unit at the same battlefield). It stays stunned for the rest of the turn (423.1.a.2).
  5. Damage: 4 assigned to the 5+ Might defender, 0 back (423.1.b). Combat Cleanup heals all units (466.1.a.1) and recalls the attackers because defenders remain (466.1.a.2). No Result (466.3.d), and 466.3.d.1 does not re-stage because only the opponent has units there.
  6. The Reveler comes home exhausted (458) and the Recruit comes home with it. 456.1: the trip home triggers nothing.
  7. Repeat with the other Reveler, which the attack trigger readied. Every pass costs zero Energy and zero cards; the Eye's pass adds a Recruit.

Per iteration

+1 Recruit in base on every pass made by the Eye-carrying Reveler; 0 Energy, 0 Power, 0 cards spent

How it ends

unbounded Recruits in base this turn; wins the way jhin-fiora-facebreaker-recall does - Azir, Sovereign moving tokens in, or a Grand Plaza hold with 7+ bodies next turn

How this entry was audited

REFUTE = a refutation pass, with its date and verdict · WOUNDED = the pass found a flaw and the entry was rewritten · BUDGETED = the pass checked the recycle-and-draw ledger · lens = the hunt that proposed it.

HAND-WALKED 2026-09-06 (docs/phase0/walks/2026-09-06-issue46-mining-walk.md), issue #46 section 2. Card text verbatim from data/corpus_flat.txt. The cheaper cousin of jhin-fiora-facebreaker-recall: same recall skeleton (466.1.a.2 + 456 + 458), but the second Twilight Reveler replaces Jhin + Fiora + an Assault source, so it is four cards instead of five and costs no Power per pass. THE BUDGET OBJECTION RAISED IN #46 DOES NOT HOLD, and it is worth recording why: #46 argued that Facebreaker is consumed every pass and capped at 3 copies (103.2.b), so without naming a recycle slot and a draw this could not be INFINITE. It is not consumed every pass. 423.1.a.2 clears the Stunned status only 'during step 3d of the end of turn cleanup', so a single Facebreaker keeps the defender stunned for every pass of the turn - the same fact jhin-fiora-facebreaker-recall already had written. Cost per pass in cards is zero, so there is nothing to recycle. The refinement the walk added over the sources: the Recruit the Eye makes is itself an attacker under 464.2.c.3, so the damage per pass is 4 and not 3, and the defender needs 5+ Might rather than the 4 one source states. Depends on no unruled reading.
